Meet Kelly
After several years of operating my business as a professional organizer, I suffered a back injury which made it virtually impossible for me to continue the type of work required such as helping clients move furniture, boxes, and heavy lifting. As a result, I’ve changed the focus of my business to include part-time office assistance and social media marketing. I think my new offerings are a natural progression as these activities are all tasks I have been doing in my own business. I thought I would take my skills and experience and offer services to small business owners, like me, who would like to have administrative assistance without the burden of an employee.
In my professional life, I have been responsible for setting up and maintaining filing systems, creating user manuals and records retention guidelines, and implementing software modifications management systems. I have worked with a wide range of individuals ranging from Vice-Presidents of major corporations, customer service personnel and even 4th graders in previous jobs as a computer systems analyst and elementary school teacher.
I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the past two-term Secretary for the NAPO-Austin chapter. I am a Clear & Simple, Inc. certified professional organizer. I have a passion for helping others and value the one-on-one interaction between teacher and student. My goal is to simplify my clients’ lives by relieving them of day-to-day or routine tasks, helping them market their businesses effectively, and creating customized, manageable systems to fit their particular needs.
