How do I choose an organizer?

How do I get organized?There is not one specific method for getting organized.  People are so different in their personalities, work styles and life situations that one system will not fit all.  Target the areas in which you want to improve such as filing, clutter control, or time management.  There are many products to help with organization.  Call Kelly for a FREE phone consultation at 512.779.5626 to determine if Simplification Services will fit your needs.

What is the process?First, we will conduct a phone consultation to determine if Simplification Services will fit your needs.  Then, we will schedule an initial consultation.  An initial consultation takes about an hour to an hour and a half.  We will assess the area, discuss your goals for the space, and find out what’s currently working or not working.  During the process, Kelly will make recommendations or suggestions for organizing the area.  After the consultation, Kelly will e-mail you the organizing plan including estimates for completing each step of the plan.  Next, we will begin the actual hands-on organizing process.  Once the space is organized, you will be left with a plan for maintaining your newly organized space.

How long does it take to get organized?The length of time varies with each client.  The clutter and disorganization did not accumulate in one day.  Some areas require one 3 hour session while others could require 20 hours of hands-on organizing time.  The end goal is to have a customized system in place utilizing habits and tools to help you maintain the organized space. 

How much does it cost to get organized?

Fees vary based on the types of services required, the scope of the project, how involved the client would like to be in the process, the client’s time contraints and budget.  A phone consultation is FREE to determine if Simplification Services will fit the client’s needs.  The fee for the initial one hour consultation is $75 which includes a plan with estimates for organizing the space.  Package pricing is available for hands-on organizing.  We strive to fit both budget and time constraints, so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Home Office

Kelly Butcher’s Simplification process was a tremendous, much needed help to us in reorganizing our home offices. She was professional & patient in laying out goals. My husband & I were grateful for Kelly’s system to help with the overwhelming amount of sorting that we needed to get done together.
