Examples
Just a few examples of what an Office Assistant/Virtual Assistant could do for you:
- Confirm appointments – a list of appointments e-mailed or faxed to VA can be confirmed via telephone for the client. Appointment information may also be gathered via an online shared calendar. The VA may get directions to the appointment and e-mail them to the client.
- Coordinate travel arrangements. If the client travels frequently, the VA can make flight, hotel, car rental reservations for the client.
- Complete routine paperwork. Information may be faxed or e-mailed to VA and paperwork completed on a daily basis.
- Conduct internet keyword research for particular products, services or competitors.
- Event planning. VA finds venue and makes all arrangements, including meals. Prepares binders or other participant materials.
- Order office supplies and have them direct shipped to the office.
- Transcribe written or audio notes to Word document.
- Create user manuals or documentation manuals – transcribe notes to “manual” format. Have the manuals bound by a printing company.
- Prepare Powerpoint presentations from notes, diagrams, or sketches that were either faxed, e-mailed, or mailed to VA.
- Business card information scanned or input into client’s contact database. Can create an introductory letter to be mailed to a prospect using a mail merge of contact information.
The options are almost endless.
What tasks could be outsourced to give you time to focus on what you love about your business?
