5 Quick and Easy Blog Post Ideas

June 26, 2014 By Kelly Butcher Leave a Comment

It’s happened to me again…I’m long overdue for my next Blog post and I cannot think of anything to write! If this happens to you, I hope this article will give you some suggestions for overcoming writer’s block.

1. Information about New Products or Services
If your company is going to launch a new product or service, alert your customers and/or followers ahead of time. Let them know how the new product or service will help them and offer a loyal customer discount, if appropriate. Keep your readers engaged in the launch process through other social media platforms.

2. Relevant News from your Industrynews-1058435-s
Highlight your expertise and position yourself as an industry leader by providing relevant and timely news from your industry. Offer your opinion or explain to your readers how this information will affect them and their businesses.

3. Customer Success Stories

One of the easiest and most effective types of posts is to highlight your own customer success stories. Describe the problem or “pain” the customer was having and how you were able to solve their problem. This type of post gives extra exposure to your customer and, at the same time, it highlights your expertise and demonstrates how your product or service works.

4. Case Studies

Write a case study documenting how a competitor or other business in the same industry did something well. Or document what you might have done differently when posed with the same problem or situation. A case study is another way for you to highlight your knowledge and expertise in a given area.

5. FAQ about your Business or Industryquestion-con-2-1009934-s
If your product, service, or industry requires additional explanation or if you are frequently fielding the same questions about your offerings, write a “Frequently Asked Questions” with answers blog post to clear up the confusion. Your customers and potential clients will appreciate the additional information and explanation about your products or services.

I would love to hear how you overcome writer’s block!
